Last night was one of the best times i've had in a long time. A very, very good friend of mines who happens to be THE ILLEST, WordSpit had his "Rise of The Illest" showcase to premire his new single for his video Poet's Haiku. One of my favorite songs by the way. The show featured some awesome acts such as: RSNY, Will, and my new found friends that seem like i knew them forever from Chicago, The Rockerteers. Everyone was amazing, and did an awesome job. Being that i know everyone who performed last night on a personal level and as friends already...seeing them actually perform brought chills down my spine. Especially WordSpit. Even when your having a simple conversation with him, it's always interesting and entertaining. His passion and dedication for what he does is beyond exceptional, and it shines bright. Chillin with him is always fun, but seeing this kid on stage....priceless. Energy the whole time, never a dull moment, and always a crowd attention grabber. If you guys havent checked him out yet...please do so before you miss what we all like to call THE ILLEST. He's really making a big noise this year, i'm just warning yall before yall are taken by surprised. :) . On that note, i'll be back in a few with another entry...let me try to get SOME work done for the day.
